History: The name Cragsterboy came was made up by Tim Upton for an account name for me on a popular online game some 6-5 years ago and ever since that the name has stuck. So anything Cragsterboy is me. After sometime playing halo 2 on xbox live i started to get interested in modding, so i quickly learnt how to do it. I soft modded my xbox and played fun modded custom games on halo 2, due to me modding on halo 2 (not in matchmaking) but for fun i got banned from the halo 2 matchmaking, which i wasnt too fussed about due to me getting bored of it. And so i developed further my knowledge of halo 2 modding and joined a modding team, SnowMakers. After a while with SnowMakers my knowledge devloped more and i released my first map pack for SnowMakers. While in SnowMakes i worked with HTML for the first time, in which i edited a template that was then used for the SnowMakers website. After this release i didnt do much more maps, i just helped other people develop theirs and BETA tested their mods. After a while the leader of Snowmakers moved on and so SnowMakers became know as LostMods and i ran the modding team with a good Auzzie Friend called Pyro Blizzard. We got a good team and start releasing maps as a team, our most famous map which we made was Mischief Night Which we made for a Haloween contest on HaloMods, in which we won. After that my halo 2 modding scene ended as halo 3 beta came out and most modders moved on.
During a year or so period Cragsterboy died out of sight, during this time i developed my HTML skills further and photoshop skills further, i also kept playing online games and Xbox Live. Then about a year ago i started playing an online game called TribalWars, which i still play. And i noticed that this game didnt have a web client which most online games do, so i devloped TribeOrb, which is now TribalWars’s number 1 web client with over 2000 users and is still being used today.
The makers of Tribalwars (innoGames) released a new game, The-West.net, in which i started to play and i became a big talker in the comunity forums and then after a while i got offered the postion as a forum moderator which i accepted. While playing the-west i made a duel convertor which would convert users duel reports into bbcodes os that they can post it in the forums, by creating this converotr i grew my knowledge in PHP and mySQL. I then became i high ranked moderator but then stood down so i could concetrate on my studing at the University fo Liverpool.
While at University of Liverpool i have become a President of my halls and i have also become a Peer mentor for my course. Im still currently studying and show graduate in 2013 all being well.
And so this is where i am now, may the Cragsterboy story continue to be a success…
